The Little Lodge at the Tea Farm

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway located amid long-standing pines and across the road from Louisiana's only tea farm. This cabin features a loft with bunk-beds and a twin bed. Downstairs there is a separate bedroom with a queen size bed. Fish in the stocked pond or go ziplining across the pond! Canoes are also on site to paddle around on the pond. The lodge is on the property beside the main house facing an one acre horse paddock and overlooking a 3 acre pond, dock and gazebo. Attractions nearby include; Global Wildlife Center, an Alligator farm, the Bogue Chitto State Park, old town of Covington with antique shops, art galleries, and fine dining. We are only 45 miles from Downtown New Orleans. l

With prior notification to host you may have full access to onsite boat slip. Depending on size of boats slip can host up to 2 boats at one time. Please read detailed description of property before booking. Set in a 22 acre parcel on the Natalbany River 6.5 miles from downtown Hammond. This building has been built with mostly reclaimed, reused and upcycled materials. The rustic interior walls are clad in huge boards milled on the property after Katrina damage. Note the unusual shower with handmade tiles. There are other unique structures on property.
