It is just 2 miles from downtown Bath, also close to the beaches and 2 different State Parks. (Within a 15 min drive) Apartment does have some steep stairs to the second floor bedroom. In especially cold weather there is a pull out sleeper with extra mattress provided for another comfy, warmer first floor sleeping space. Coin operated laundry next door down.
