The house is built on the school yard from 1901, and the adjacent property is the original school house. Centrally located in Fife, Edinburgh, East Coastal Neuk and St Andrews are a short drive.

The Haven is a warm, cosy, quirky, very small hut set in a beautiful garden. It is perfect for a single traveller but does sleep two people. It is not really suitable for anyone with mobility issues. If you are looking for a simple, outdoorsy place to stay where you can self-cater in the outdoor kitchen, bbq or walk into the village for a pub meal, the Haven is for you! It is easily accessible by public transport. A perfect getaway!

There are many good and varied restaurants and cafes in Dunfermline, three miles away, however if you want to "eat in", the kitchen does have a microwave and a toaster, so that it is possible to make a simple, straightforward meal.
